Some common arrangements can be an every-other-weekend with the child, also can be split 50/50 where one parent has the child one week, and the other parent had the child the other week. Also, for Christmas visitation, winter holiday, where one parent has the child for the first half of the winter break and the other parent has the child for the other half of the winter break.
For the summer visitation, the court will allow the parent to have at least two weeks of uninterrupted time with the child. That way, if you want to plan a vacation with the child, you know your set amount of time that you have with the child, and you can properly plan to have your vacation time with the child.
