VISITATION SCHEDULE | FORT MYERS FAMILY LAW ATTORNEYS
No, the court does not have to decide a visitation schedule. We encourage you and the other parent to make the visitation schedule yourselves because you and the other parent know what is best for your family. You know your routine. You also know the child’s routine. If you are leaving that issue for the judge to decide, one parent may not be happy with the outcome at the end of the day. At least if you are in agreement, well, you’re in agreement. That means you both decided that that is what is in the best interests of you and your family.
