There are two grounds for divorce in Florida. One is mental incapacity and the second ground is, the one that is most likely used, which is the marriage being irretrievably being broken. For the second ground, the court looks into whether or not you did everything that you could to have the marriage work and you can just not work it out. Since Florida is a “No fault” divorce state, as long as you plea that the marriage is irretrievably broken then the court will grant your divorce.
