It depends. Initially both parties meet together with the mediator. At that point in time, the parties’ attorneys make an opening statement to inform the mediator the issue that we will be working on today. Afterwards if you decide, you know what, I think it’s best if we do separate rooms, then the mediator can have individual caucus for each party. You would not have to be in the same room with the other party.
